If you hold a registered business name, we’ll send you a renewal notice by email or post, at least 30 days before your renewal is due.
Business names can be renewed on our system for one or 3 years.
Eligibility
- holders of a registered business name that have been sent a Registration renewal notice.
What you need
- your Letter Reference Number (as shown on your renewal notification), or
- your ABN number (if it is recorded on your business name details)
- your credit card
How to renew your business name
- Type your Letter Reference Number in the white box on the front of our main homepage.
- Or, enter your ABN.
- Select the business name you want to renew.
- Select the renewal period for one or three years.
- Review the details displayed and confirm your renewal service.
- Make your payment.
- Submit the information.
More information
- you have 30 days after the commencement date shown on the renewal notice to pay the Registration renewal fee.
- if you don’t renew your business name on time, ASIC may cancel it.
Payment methods
You can pay on this website by using:
- a credit or debit card (only Visa or Mastercard)
If you don’t want to pay online, you can:
- pay by BPAY, but you still must go through the renewal process until you reach the payment method at the end.
Once we have received your payment and performed your business name renewal service, we will send you your official ASIC Record of Registration to your email address listed in your Registration account.
